Sonshine Dance Troupe
Congratulations to everyone who was accepted into the Sonshine Dance Troupe this year!
As the popularity of our group continues to grow and bring us more and more auditioners each year, the standards for acceptance get higher, and the groups continue to evolve and push upward in both technical skills and showmanship.
Be proud and happy to have been asked to join such a wonderful and progressive performing group!
The group divisions listed on the Academy window represent the way the audition scores fell, and these are the groups we will be keeping for the year. Sapphire and Emerald Troupers will be dancing together; Elite I and II will dance seperately and together; Shane T. may be used for partnering in different groups. Whether you are dancing with people who are in Academy classes lower than yours, or whether you are a returning member who will be dancing with different people than you did last year, please remember that the Troupe faculty will always give you material and challenges that we feel are appropriate to your needs as a dancer and a learner (If you want to move up next year, spend this year working your hardest and giving your best to all choreography presented to you, so you can grow as a dancer and better your chances for a great audition next summer).
